Nike has claimed that their relationship with United forward Greenwood has not been revived.
When pictures and videos were shared on social media in late January 2022, Greenwood was taken into custody.
He was then suspended by United, and the team just announced that they will launch their own internal review to determine his future.
According to rumors, Greenwood’s teammates do not want him to go back to Carrington because they think it would affect their season.
Despite being unsure of his future, Greenwood updated his Instagram account, adding the names of United and his previous sponsor Nike to his bio.
After the 21-year-old was granted bail last year, Nike fired him right after.
The sportswear company’s association with the England international has been questioned in light of Greenwood’s biography.
United and Nike are now mentioned in Greenwood’s revised Instagram bio.
However, Nike has stated such is not the case, and they have quickly dispelled any rumors that could have surfaced.
